John A. Buza, MD, MS, is an orthopedic spine surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens. He specializes in conditions of the spine, with a focus on minimally invasive techniques and advanced technology using computer navigation. Dr. Buza treats patients with spine-related diseases and disorders, including adult scoliosis, herniated disk, spine arthritis, cancer of the spine, sciatica, and addresses fractures, infections, injury, and pain. Dr. Buza graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons with his Master’s in Human Nutrition and remained there to complete his medical degree. He served his residency at the Hospital for Joint Diseases at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital and completed his fellowship at Norton Leatherman Spine Center at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
