The Mikveh is celebrating the Bat Mitzvah anniversary of its opening with guests of honor Diane and Howard Rabin and Chavera Ne'Emana Sally Neuhaus.  *** Rabbi Mordechai Becher will be the keynote speaker***

Sunday April 276:45pm   (at HANC Plainview) – YOM HASHOAH PROGRAM Nicky’s Family, a poignant and moving film about the nearly forgotten story of Nicholas Winton, an Englishman who organized the rescue of 669 Czech and Slovak children just before the outbreak of World War II.

Special Guest Speaker, Hanna Slome, one of the rescued children from Nicky’s Family, who will share her experience with the audience.

Youth Announcements

Parent volunteers are needed to help out in the group rooms on Pesach. If you can help out, please contact Josh & Sara


YIP Youth is creating a pilot program of an “oneg wheel” and/or “meal wheel,” in order to better cater to your child’s grade. Please email Josh/Sara if you would be interested in hosting a periodic Shabbat event at your home for your child’s circle of friends. This program’s success is dependent on all parents’ participation!


We are always looking for new hosts for onegs! Contact Josh/Sara if you would be interested in hosting an upcoming oneg for your child's grade!

Please join us for our weekly Women's Tehillim group in Plainview--this week on Wednesday night, 4/23 @ 8:30 pm

Each week, a group of women gather together to recite Tehillim (Psalms) on behalf of those who are ill. Many of you in the community have given us names of relatives and friends, and those names are recited aloud each week. If you have submitted a name, please think of taking on a more active role on behalf of your family members and friends. Our group is looking for more women to take part in this important act of chesed. Please e-mail Ruth for further information at rlorbert@verizon.net
