Community Events and Notices

The women's Tehillim group is looking for more women to join and take part in this important chesed on behalf of those who are ill.  There's no long-term commitment, simply come whenever you can. We silently complete the entire book of Tehilim, which may be read in Hebrew or English and then read aloud the names of people who could benefit from our tefillot. We usually meet on Monday nights at 8:45 pm at the home of Ruth Lorbert. Please e-mail Ruth for further information at rlorbert@verizon.net.  We hope you can join us this Monday night.

Join our Ongoing Weekly Women's Project in Plainview. Become part of the dynamic Ahavas Yisrael Chaburah Project and join other women in a series of short workshops, which are thought-provoking and inspiring, all focusing on aspects of Ahavas Yisrael, literally love for (the people of) Israel. For more on this project please visit the AY Project web site.

The AY discussions begin immediately after Tehillim is recited, usually at approximately 9:15. These discussions are designed to be brief, only 10-15 minutes with additional weekly take-home suggestions.
