Freidel bas Moshe mother of Phillip Kurlander. 
Phillip will be sitting shiva after the funeral on 7/26 at his home (54 Phipps Lane, Plainview) and will resume shiva after shabbat as follows:
Saturday night: after shabbat until 10:30pm, 54 Phipps Lane, Plainview
Sunday: 12:00 pm until 8:30pm, 428 Oxford Road, New Rochelle

The following week, it will be back to Tuesday night.)

Wednesday - Yoetzet Avital Weissman will be giving a weekly class on Sefer Bereishit in the Shul. (Please note: this class will be on “summer hiatus”. Resuming Wednesday Aug 21, returning to 8:30 pm.)

HELPING THOSE IN NEED IN OUR COMMUNITY
The Mid-Island Y JCC Is proud to announce...Project Replenish. With support from the local Jewish community, we are helping to alleviate hunger insecurity among our neighbors. The Jewish Communal Fund Food Pantry at the Mid-Island Y JCC provides seniors, individuals and families with essential food, toiletry and household items. Donations will benefit the Mid-Island Y JCC’s Jewish Communal Fund Food Pantry & The Hatzilu Rescue Organization.  The donation bin is located In the Rabbi’s office. No glass or expired food, please.
